Math – K/1 – Introduction to IXL Math.  Teaching the new students how to log on themselves and begin the exercises.  Please help them at home get use to signing in to their account.  It will help me here at school.  Because I teach everyday both kinder and 1st grade math I have to flip flop them.  They will hear the lesson from me and participate for understanding.  They then will go on the computers to do IXL math or eventually Brainzy Math.  Some are very new at navigating the computer, so your help at home will be an immense help to me.

Reading – K – Our new kinder readers read with me Athletes.  They then read to me by themselves.  They were then encouraged to pick another same level book.  Their home work everyday is to read to you their daily reader.  Our 1st graders picked up where they left off.  Same as Kinders, they must read every night.  That is their homework and will soon include spelling.
