Friday Devotional –  We got together with the 2-5 grades to sing and dance about God’s Masterpiece to start our day.

Math – K – Lesson 1-2 Reading and writing 1, 2 , 3
1st – Lesson 1-2 Making 6 and 7

Reading – K/1 Leveled readers with our new readers reading Bedtime Counting.  I introduced to them the on-line Headsprouts phonics program.  This is by far the most important thing they can do at home (and in the classroom) to get those sounding skills down.  If you only use one of our at-home tools please use this one for our new readers.

Word of the Day – K – “I”
1st – Language – Choose the best word.  What rhymes with bell?  Fix the sentence.  Where do they belong.

Handwriting – K – “D” along with a room write to find “D” words
1st – “s” along with a room write

Social Studies – Let’s Find Out – Raise Your Hand and School Rules

Sentence of the Day – Write three things inside our classroom.

We ended our day with some extra recess and choice time.
