In reading we read Fall.  Mr. Gary was in with a twist on mentor reading as he had the kids read from Dr. Seuss and had some trivia questions to ask them.  Of course I read Green Eggs and Ham and brought in my own version of the dish for all to enjoy.  Only one did not try it so I felt it was a great success.  We had a coloring activity to accompany the book and breakfast.  We had PE today.

In the afternoon I let all the children read from their favorite Dr. Seuss book in my chair to the class.  After reading they went about finding all the rhyming works they could find in the Dr. Seuss books.  In math we did Lesson 9-8.

I hope to see you tomorrow night for the Dr. Seuss carnival.
