Today we read Busy At School.  Miss Linda was in today to mentor read as was Miss Anna yesterday.  In math it was Lesson 9-7.    For handwriting it was the letter “D” along with sentences.  I had a small reading group with me today as Miss Anna monitored and helped the children in the computer lab with Explode the Code.

Continuing with our Dr. Seuss theme this week I read Horton Hears A Who and Oh’ the Places You’ll Go!.    The children have been practicing their favorite Dr. Seuss books and we will have a mini Seuss marathon tomorrow with them reading their favorite parts of the books.

In Social Studies we had our Heritage Parade as we walked around the school with our Heritage Floats spending some extra time with our Big Buddies and talking about our international diversities.
