Today we read Playful Puppy.  In handwriting it was letter “q”.  We added more words to our word wall and reviewed many of the ones already up there.  In phonics we did beginning and ending sounds of “J”.  Many of the children were able to find time to journal as well. There was no Spanish today.  In math it was lesson 8-6 and on Let’s Find Out we talked about snow and winter.

For social studies the children got their shoe boxes out and I wrapped them for them.  I emailed home instructions.  They will decorate them as floats to represent their heritage.

Reminder that we have library tomorrow.  Please return books to the library or to me so I can turn them in.  I am so happy to see the outpouring of things for our service persons’ C.A.R.E. packages.  We will compose letters and or cards to be included and a picture of our class so they can better get to know us.
