Reading – Carlos Goes to School for the kinders, for  the 1st graders it was reading their own leveled books along with exercises in Short “a” sounds and using illustrations in reading.

Handwriting – Kinder “D” and a room write, 1st “s” with sentence writing.

Math – Kinders Lesson 1-6 Reading and Writing 4 and 5.  1st Grade Lesson 1-7 Adding in any order

Social Studies – Party creations.  I split the class into two groups and had them choose a leader to poll for a party name.   We now have the Cheetah party and the Iguana party.  The children then each drew what they thought would be the best logo to represent their party.  Next we will vote on each party’s drawing to represent them.

We ended our day with Learning Centers.

Reminder to please use at home  Raz-Kids and especially Headsprouts which is part of Raz-Kids.  In addition, we have Brainzy (Math and Reading) and IXL Math.  I will try and get their Envision Math workbooks home tomorrow to support their learning from home.
