Math – Lesson 7-6 Addition Sentences

The children had Spanish and PE today.  The children did great leading the school at Chapel with “We Shall Overcome”.  I spoke about integrity and the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King.  His life and legacy.  We broke into family groups and had a further discussion about his dream and how it only takes one person to make a difference.  Miss Judy from our school is headed back to the Philippines next week and will be carrying all the money we collected in the jar  to help the children we sponsor there.  She shared a wonderful slide show which showed the children what are gifts are doing .  It is not to late to contribute your change.  We wrote a class card for them with our pictures and our dreams for them.  We ended our day with learning centers.
