I am excited to announce we have a new student in our class, Landon Hodge.  He is excited to be with us and everyone made him feel right at home.  I will get his picture out to you tomorrow.

Reading – The Picnic

Handwriting – We are just about finished with our first handwriting book with only numbers left to go.  Today we learned “hello” in three other languages.  Chinese, Spanish and French.

Math – Lesson 7-4 Using the plus sign. We are transitioning into the conventional symbols of math.

Today the children had Movement class.  We practiced our Martin Luther King song for Chapel Friday morning.  In Social Studies we decided on our parade route in school and the children created a flow chart of the parade.  Sierra, Zoe and Kailee presented their at home work in Science and Social Studies.  We finished our day with learning Centers.
