In reading it was Opposites.  We had Miss Anna in to listen to the children read.  I have moved some of the children up a level in their reading as a challenge after talking to our mentors and reviewing their notes.

It was applesauce making day today with our class making applesauce.  Everyone participated by peeling apples and adding the spices and sugar.  The school smelled so good and by the end of the day our applesauce had cooked down and is now in the fridge for tomorrow’s Thanksgiving Feast.  We journaled about applesauce.  In math we did lesson 5-4.  The kids had music today and we ended our days doing Thanksgiving place-mats.  While they were doing that I made their pilgrim hats for tomorrow.

I sent out a special email about going to Seattle to see The Wizard of Oz at the Seattle Children’s Theater.  Please decide if you want to come with your child as I have to confirm by next Tuesday.
