Science – PLTW (Project Lead the Way) is part of our STEAM (Science-Tecnology-Engineering-Arts-Math) curriculum.  Today was the introduction to Structures and Function.  The children will lean about what is needed for a structure to be both functional and sound.  We will culminate this unit with our class participating in the March 1st early evening EXPO, which will be held at the Riverview Educational Building.

NOTE:  The Parade – The at-home project of creating a float to represent your heritage will be due the week of February 5th.  They may bring them in as they create them and everyone will be given time to present their float and what they have learned about their families.
