Showtime

We had a dress rehearsal practice first thing this morning for tonight’s performance.    Please have the children here at 5:30 – 5:45 in the classroom.  Remember to wear something dark.  Some of the costumes cover most of them so check with them if their costume covers them so what they wear should not make a difference.

We did lesson 4 in Explode the Code and practiced more in computer lab after lunch.  In math we had our end of unit test and it was clear that too many did not get it.  Enough that I will reteach it to most of them again.  This unit is all about counting by 2’s, 5’s and 10’s and estimating (about how many).  I am sending home some stay at home charts if you wish to work with them.  Look in their Envision workbooks that I sent home at the beginning of school.  The Unit is Topic 6.

NOTE:  Mrs. Huber says she can not extend the borrowing time on books from the Duvall Library.  She use to just automatically extend the time but cannot anymore.  I believe everyone is up to date with books needing to be returned  by Jan 12th or 14th.

The Elf on the Shelf Special is on tomorrow night on CBS at 9:30 PM.  The kids love them.  Before that on CBS is Rudolph the Red Nosed Reeindeer at 8:00, and Yes, Virginia at 9:00 PM.

I will see many of you tonight I hope.
