For reading we read Senses.  Adding science to reading is always a plus as I quizzed the kids on one of the first science units we had back in September.  We were able to get into the computer lab for a bit working on Explode the Code.  Returning to the classroom we worked some more on our Last Five Days Packet.  In math we did our final lesson 16-5, and took our unit test.  Everyone did really well! Next we will Step Up to First Grade Math to close our math year.
Today was all about summer birthdays as we celebrated Alex, Bentley, Mia, Hans, Laina, and Rylie’s birthday.  Thanks to the moms who provided everything for the birthday bash!  Your help this year was wonderful.
